The Skills Behind Great Data Analysis & Why Do Companies Still Fail at Data Analysis?
An exclusive, invitation-only series of sessions on analytical thinking. The mindset behind great data analysis, and the one thing no tool can replace. Register to receive your invitation.

Having tools doesn't mean an organization truly understands its data.
Having reports does not guarantee better decisions
What This Session Cover?
This session focuses on analytical thinking. The mindset that turns raw data into real decisions. You'll explore why even professionals who already know Excel, SQL, or Power BI, and have the data in front of them, can still get analysis wrong, build the reasoning behind a good analysis, and walk through a practical roadmap for developing it. Tools come up too, but only briefly, the thinking is what actually makes them useful.
Inside the Session
Why analytical thinking matters more than any single tool
Why professionals still get analysis wrong, even with the right tools and the data in hand
A roadmap for becoming a professional analyst
A brief look at Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Power Automate
Why Great Analysis Starts Before the Tools
A short look at why data, reports, and tools alone are not enough — and what turns analysis into better business decisions.
What Will You Discover in This Session?
Why knowing the tools is not the same as knowing how to analyse.
Why strong analysis starts with the right problem — not simply with the available data.
Why technically skilled analysts can still reach weak or misleading conclusions.
How cognitive biases and business context can quietly shape your analysis.
Why the data and statistics in front of you may not always tell the whole story.
A brief roadmap of the skills and tools professional analysts need to develop next.
Who Can Join?
Exclusive, invitation only for anyone whose work involves any element of analysis or decision-making, no matter your role or industry. Companies are welcome to register their teams for dedicated sessions on dates that work for them.
