Biotechnology Research company is seeking to Marketing Manager with the below requirements:

  • Scientific degree in a relevant field, or Marketing degree/Business Degree/MBA
  • Minimum of 8-10 years relevant commercial experience (sales, marketing, product management) in a B2B environment with a strong track record of achievement
  • Experience of Food Protection markets and Microbiology is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated strong track record of commercial achievement built from market/ customer focused knowledge, marketing concepts and practices, and driving improvement in business performance
  • Experience of effectively deploying Digital Marketing for lead generation and qualification is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with customers, commercial teams and multifaceted sales channels
  • Adept with Windows Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat required

Responsibilities:

  • Lead translation of Strategy for Hygiena into customer-centric, region-specific marketing plans, campaigns, and collateral aligned with Marketing plans and Sales targets
  • Maintain good balance between responding to specific local needs, and the efficiencies of a broadly common strategic approach to ensure synergies across organization are captured
  • Champion spreading of best practice between local, regional, and global Marketing/ Product Management
  • Drive effective Regional and Country execution of the regional marketing strategies, with responsibility for Regional P&Ls:
  1. Run promotional campaigns, digital campaigns, and generate marketing qualified leads for the sales organization
  2. Provide a strong voice in development of the annual marketing and sales plans
  3. Develop highly tailored local field marketing content for prospects, customers, and sales teams to speed up the sales cycle and drive results
  4. Provide sales support, and technical support to customers and prospects
  • Drive effective collaboration and alignment between regional marketing, Country Management, Product Management, Industry Segment Managers, Sales organization, and Distribution partners
  • Line and functional leadership and management of team of direct reports responsible for Regional Marketing and Distribution Partners
  • Help shape development of an innovative, evidence-based, strategy for Hygiena based on a deep understanding of the specific needs of Regions and Countries
  • Act as the “Voice of the Regions” within Hygiena with authoritative, evidence-based knowledge and understanding of the needs of One Health markets in different regions/countries. Translate regional/country market and customer needs into business cases for (Regional-specific) product concepts and offers; Help drive the transformation of the Marketing team, with a decisive shift to a culture of greater customer-centricity, business ownership and accountability; Role model and champion the development and application of best-in-class B2B Marketing capabilities, including use of digital marketing; Build and nurture relationships with potential targets via conferences, professional organizations
  • Influence integrated campaign plans by representing local and regional needs and market trends
  • Support strategic account plans with marketing support, understanding account plan and objectives, craft marketing plan to enable field to accelerate and close deals; help Marketing establish the ABM program from account selection through how we execute
  • Monitor progress and measure results of all key marketing campaigns through regular pipeline inspection & deal tracking. Create and manage a regional marketing dashboard that tracks effectiveness & impact of marketing spend on pipeline, using defined tools and resources. Effectively track KPIs and develop reports for program and leadership reviews.
  • Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
  • Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
